FOR MANY YEARS, MY MAN AND I HAVE BEEN ENJOYED SAUNA. When we decided on a plot of land and house near Lake Chiemsee in Bavaria ten years ago, we knew that a Finnish sauna should not be missing in the garden behind the house, right near the lake. Said and done. Today we use our sauna almost every day. We recently bought a new sauna accessory set from Alsatian sauna technology. It was the nine-part set "All-in". Since wood is simply predestined for the sauna, I immediately enjoyed the great manufacture of many individual parts in beautiful, haptically pleasant light wood: a climate meter, an hourglass, a 30 centimeter ladle, a suitable infusion bucket with a capacity of two liters and an infusion wall shelf. Everything fit together visually and was just the right size for our compact sauna cabin. The wall shelf contained four different infusion concentrates, each 100 milliliters. Both "Citrus" and "Winter Dream" as well as "Eucalyptus" and "Mint" were extremely pleasant. The scents were precisely concentrated so that they smelled subtle and not too intrusive. My personal favorite was, depending on the season, the sweeter “winter dream”, while my husband liked “mint” the best. However, our two highlight was the “Lavender honey cream”, which made the skin wonderfully soft and soft. The small peeling grains contained therein remove old skin cells and if you massage the cream in circular movements, the blood circulation is promoted. A dream! The set was completed by the menthol crystals, which we simply placed on the hot sauna stones without water. Here they unfold their refreshing effect immediately. That was great for the airways. You only need a few crystals so that you can enjoy the delivered amount for a long time. Finally, we found the manual "Everything about sauna bathing" interesting, which even for sauna bunnies like us had previously unknown facts. The bath control panel is also perfect for positioning it in front of the sauna for guests. Our conclusion: A really successful sauna accessory set that we can only recommend. 50th anniversary of the takeover of the Elsässer company by Mr. Rainer Hahn
On 01.01.1968 Mr. Rainer Hahn took over the Elsässer company in Augsburg after the company owner Eugen Elsässer died in a traffic accident and he had no biological children. From 01.09.1959 to 01.03.1962, Mr. Rainer Hahn trained as an industrial clerk at the Elsässer company and secured the survival of the traditional company founded by Johann Elsässer in 1905 with the takeover of the Elsässer company. Elsässer was originally founded to manufacture welding equipment, but for a long time it was known and loved in the region for its all-purpose stoves and stoves. In the 1950s, the company was one of the pioneers in the production of sauna heaters in Germany. In the 1960s, production was mainly switched to sauna stoves and in the 1970s trading in sauna accessories began. In 2003, Mr. Rainer Hahn handed over the management to his two sons, whom he is still available today as a consultant. Thanks to its long market knowledge and technical know-how, the Elsässer company has developed a large number of products in the area of sauna accessories and technology, and in some cases holds European patents for them. It currently supplies sauna builders and specialist dealers worldwide, as well as more recently door manufacturers and specialist dealers with their own door hinges, locks and handles.
Shower turns into fun
From now on, Elsässer GmbH from Augsburg is offering shower tabs in addition to its extensive range of sauna accessories, technology and stoves. This new product idea offers a fragrance experience while showering without directly scenting the skin. The shower tabs are simply placed in the water flow on the shower floor and release their intense fragrance from essential oils when showering. The fragrances eucalyptus, spruce, orange and rose are offered, which are also available as a mixed set in high-quality black packaging from the trade partners of Elsässer GmbH.
Towel rail
Elsässer GmbH from Augsburg has developed design-protected towel racks for installation in sauna and infrared cabins. This prevents the sauna towel from slipping when sitting and sweating in the sauna and infrared cabin. For this purpose, the corners of the sauna towel are simply clamped in the two towel holders. The set consists of 2 towel holders including fastening screws and can now be obtained from the trade partners of Elsässer GmbH.
Open doors in commercial sauna cabins cause additional energy costs and dissatisfied customers!
Solution for glass doors: Novel self-closing door hinges from Elsässer GmbH, Augsburg The retired managing director of Elsässer GmbH, Mr. Rainer Hahn, has developed patented self-closing door hinges. The specially designed screw-on hinge of the self-closing eliga door hinge is concealed in the door rebate without the technology behind it impairing the appearance. This results in a smaller size and a lower weight of the eliga door hinges compared to the competition door hinges. There are 4 different shapes with a matt chrome surface (some also with a brown color coating). For larger quantities, surface coatings can also be produced according to customer requirements. The eliga door hinges with a self-closing area up to 140 ° (alternatively also available up to 85 °) offer a whole range of advantages and ensure that the hot sauna room from the anteroom (apart from the short opening) - / closing process) is thermally separated. This prevents the door from being closed incorrectly by careless users or from being left completely open. After opening, the door automatically glides back into the locked position in the door frame. No sauna heat escapes, which has to be generated again with great expenditure of time and high energy costs and leads to user dissatisfaction. No additional expensive door closer with locking arm is required on the door frame, as is currently used for wooden and glass doors. For cleaning and cooling times, the door can remain open in the area of the opening angle from approx. 140 ° to 180 ° (alternatively from approx. 85 ° to 180 °).
The same glass door holes can be used for the self-closing eliga door hinges as for the eliga standard door hinges. The height and width of the door can also be adjusted by the Verstellxcenter for self-closing door hinges in the event that the door leaf should lower over time. A special advantage of the self-closing eliga door hinges is that the glass door leaf can sit flush on the floor, as it is lifted slightly when the door is opened by the lifting movement.eliga door hinges are characterized by a stable construction made of corrosion-free die-cast zinc as well as a pivot pin and others Metal parts made of stainless steel. The self-closing door hinges are for max. Glass door dimensions of 2000x900x10 mm suitable.
Large energy cost saving potential for commercial saunas through eliga sauna gas heaters
In many cases, commercial sauna systems are still heated with electric sauna heaters, which cause about 70% higher energy costs than gas heaters every day! Gas heaters require one-time higher investment costs for heater, installation and exhaust gas routing! However, these pay for themselves very quickly due to the significantly lower energy costs! A comparison of energy costs shows z. B. with a heating output of 30 kW (suitable for a well-insulated sauna room with 60 m³), an annual energy cost saving of over € 14,000.00 compared to an electric sauna heater. Would you like to calculate your savings potential? The company ELSÄSSER GmbH offers a free individual energy cost comparison. All you need is the electricity and gas fees per kWh of your current energy provider, the heating power of your electric sauna heater and the weekly operating time of the sauna.
The company ELSÄSSER GmbH has been manufacturing gas-heated sauna heaters for over 60 years and therefore has extensive know-how in this field. The company ELSÄSSER GmbH produces gas heaters with a heating capacity of 12 to 50 kW, which heat the sauna room to a sauna temperature of 90 to 100 ° C within 90 minutes by air circulation / convection. eliga gas heaters can be installed in the sauna on the side wall, in the middle of the room or as a rear bench or rear wall unit. The gas burner for natural or liquid gas and the exhaust gas fan are installed in a technical room next to the sauna. If there is no suitable technical room, a gas burner independent of the ambient air can also be used. The temperature is controlled as usual via an electrical control unit mounted outside the sauna cabin. Eliga gas ceiling lamps can also be used for rest, relaxation and treatment rooms. Eliga gas heaters are designed for many years of use in commercial saunas. The heaters are made of stainless steel and are made in Germany. These are installed with a decorative fireproof covering according to the customer's design requirements and a cover grille. eliga gas heaters have been tested and approved in accordance with the EC Gas Appliances Directive 2009 - Certificate No. CE 0085AQ0312. Large stone baskets for infusion are installed on or between the heating tubes. eliga sauna heaters can be installed by a local specialist company in accordance with the installation instructions or by factory fitters from ELSÄSSER GmbH.
